"Palazzo Mauruzi della Stacciola is located in Piazza Gherardi and during the centuries it underwent so many revisions which made it impossible for it to return to its original shape. The present building plan comprises an open downhill courtyard with internal portals of different periods, which have now been removed. In the 18th century the building was revised with stucco decorations in a baroque style door with the family insignia. The watercolour Studiolo depicting important Urbino Citizens is also noteworthy. In the past it was home to the Palazzo di Giustizia (Law Court)."
